We provide our guests (maximum 15) with a professionally operated, high quality and personalised “Catch and Release” fishing adventure situated in a spectacular and pristine wilderness environment. We support this with a superior level of client service, facilities, meal quality and accommodation comforts seldom associated with remote sport-fishing destinations.  

At Melville Island Lodge, we understand the special needs of our corporate clients and, because no two events are ever quite the same, will work with you to tailor-make your trip to suit your individual requirements and meeting objectives. We also understand the need for privacy and will guarantee exclusive use of Melville Island Lodge and its facilities for group bookings of 12 or more people, and exclusive use of our Johnson River bush camp for groups of 6 or more. With exclusive use, we can best assist you to arrange private business meetings and presentations, or, perhaps, a theme night, product demonstration or special event dinner. Just tell us what you have in mind and we'll do our very best to accommodate you.

Fishing competitions between boats with prizes or trophies for the largest, smallest or most fish is great fun and can add to the team-building aspects of your trip. The awarding of prizes on the closing evening is always great entertainment. If you'd like us to organise prizes, trophies or perhaps group polo shirts or caps, please give us as much notice as possible and we'll do our best to assist.

At Melville Island Lodge we cater for all levels of fishing experience, from first timers, right through to the seasoned sport fisherman. Our highly experienced and patient fishing guides are here to provide your team with expert personal tuition and will have them lure casting and catching fish in no time at all. Lure casting for barramundi and other tropical fish species is tremendous fun and we're yet to encounter a corporate group who hasn't thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
